With Season 4 came frustration and near breaking point for the club. The name was changed to Camberley AFC following our break up with Sponsors pre season and a breath of fresh air was needed. The Manager found a new ‘HOME’ ground for the club, Kings Intl College, no longer will we be nomads.
The Temp Manager was made permanent but with also having to be treasurer and secretary and everything else this was to be too much. Towards the end of the season, following a frustrating time for the manager, he “quit” all tasks. The club was about to fold at the end of this season if nothing was going to change.
Money was also an issue, with Davison still being owed money after bailing out the club and without that the club would have gone under.
On the pitch improvement was still there, albeit at a less pace than expected, a good solid 5th place boded well for the next season, provided the club could sort itself out.
