Crossley 6 v 0 Rose and Thistle             (Divison 3 League Match)

What a fucking farce this match was, what a day.

Heavy rain produced an un-playable pitch, the ref was the same as last year who knows Crossley really well and can’t stand up to them.

I had made my decision about not wanting to play, Crossley tried to get lippy and intimidate me but you all know what I’m like... just don’t try it, it WON’T work! I told the players my decision and they looked quite shocked, with that I told them to think about it and give me answer. They spent a couple of mins talking about it and wanted to play... fuck me these guys will learn the hard way .

A learn the hard way Thistle did. The first half couldn’t even be described as football , both in terms of the pitch and the performance. With out harping on about it lets just say half time saw the score line Crossley 6 Thistle 0.

Subs at half time, Harris and Lindley off, Marshall and Davison on. Davison in no mood for giving in and made sure the rest of the team didn’t. Plenty of nice tackles going in and winding up the forwards, which is what we should have done from the off. Towards the end Leach came off and MOM Bobby Winnard came on. Didn’t put a foot wrong.

No goals in the second half but a defeat anyway.

Just wait until these fuckers turn up at our place... Thistle Are you reading this !!!
