Rose and Thistle 2 v 4 Crossley            (Divison 3 Cup 1st Rd 1st Leg)

After this game Manager Davison sent out an e-mail pointing out a few home truths about many things which I hope will cause a response.

Yet again we capitulated against a team that just seems to love bullying us, and we seem to love being bullied. What I thought was a strong side turned out not to be until the last 30 mins of the game.

Very bad play all round made a horrible first score of 3-1 to Crossley, this after Gadsen had equalized with a lovely chip over their keeper. A Massive Rant at half time by the boss bought out the best in everybody, not.

Second half was just as poor as the first with Crossley getting their 4th after no one marked a player in the penalty box. Scales came on and the formation changed to 442. and then then without any prior warning Thistle came alive. We played great football an d made Crossley look the team they really are...average. Gadsen got a second to make it 4-2 and if the thrid had gone in then Crossley would have collapsed..but no... why can’t dare to beat them.

M.O.M - easy... Gadsen. Not so easy was picking out the worst player, but there you go.
