As far as the manager is concerned Dickie has been a God send in helping out. A regular for us in going to League Meetings as well as lots of other areas.
Dickie looks after a few clubs things for us so that they are there every week, the first is the goal nets and the second is Dan “Chewy” Marshall. Without the nets we wouldn’t have a game. He is there every home game helping putting the nets and corner flags out as well as pulling them back down again ready for the next game.
The other major area for us is one of Lino, not a nice job to do but it has to be done. He gets lots of stick, some justified, most not, and confesses that at times he’s watching the game and not the back line.. Dickie, I don’t think comes as a surprise to the back 4 !
Currently nursing a knee injury sustained by pleading on bended knee to Dan asking him not to moan at him during the game... or should that be the other way round? Looking to have a run out during the friendlies we should see Dickie back out on the touchline... GAWD Help us.. ha,ha,ha,ha
