West End 6 v 1 Rose And Thistle (Inter Div Cup Rd 3)
Not a great game, although the pitch and changing rooms were excellent.
Onto the game ...Starting line up Conetta, Gray, Oakey, Goacher, Leach, Lindley, Marsden, Marshall, Waygood, Gadsen, Milburn SUBS: Davison, Harris, Scales, Winnard, Trigger
1st Half - We played well as a team and through some good play by them and some switching off by us we found ourselves 3-0 down at half time. The size of the pitch was causing some problems but all in all it was ok.
2nd Half - In this half we had some very good chances with the main one being Shinner Waygood missing an open goal. Scales blasted home the only goal for thistle and the final result was a flattering 6-1 to west end.
M.O.M - A very very tough call, between Gray and Marsden but Gray gets it.
